Dax Hinton, DVM
Dr. Dax Hinton graduated from Hillcrest High School in 2003. He earned a Bachelors of Science in Animal and Dairy Sciences with a focus in Agribusiness Management from Mississippi State University in 2007. He earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. Dr. Hinton has numerous animals and is an active member of the Black Warrior Retriever Club. When not at work he enjoys spending time outdoors.
Laura Edwards, DVM
Dr. Laura Edwards graduated from Pell City High School in 1992.She completed her undergraduate studies at Birmingham-Southern College in 1996. Dr. Edwards received her DVM from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. She is a a devoted mother of three beautiful daughters, four dogs, and six cats. Her hobbies include running, reading, and traveling. She is an active member of Bluff Park UMC. Dr. Edwards has 13 years in emergency and critical care medicine
Mary Beth Schuessler, DVM
Dr. Mary Beth Schuessler has been practicing emergency veterinary medicine since 1990. After graduating Hewitt Trussville High School she attended The University of Montevallo and Auburn University earning a bachelor of Science in Animal and Dairy Science. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University. Dr. Schuessler has two small dogs and is known to all as a cat lover.
Brandt Tolbert, DVM
Dr. Brandt Tolbert grew up in the Birmingham area and graduated from Shades Valley High School in 1991. He earned a Bachelors of Science in Zoology in 1995 from Auburn University where he also earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. Dr. Tolbert, his wife Rachel and their three children share their home with Leia, a rescued Pit-bull and a cat named Cinder.
